Welcome TestKIT speakers!
We're excited that you answered the call we made to the testing and test automation communities to submit proposals to speak at the TestKIT 2013 Testing and Test Automation Conference scheduled for September 23 - 25, 2013 in Arlington, VA. As a presenter you will have the opportunity to contribute to your industry and network with experts/practitioners in your field.
Below you will find useful information that will help to get you ready for this great event.
Presenting Timeslot (Concurrent Sessions)
Concurrent sessions are scheduled for an hour, so you should plan on 45-50 minutes for conducting the session and 10-15 minutes for questions.
It's recommended that you use the TestKIT powerpoint template for your presentation slides. This template can be downloaded using the links below:
Be practical - Offer content that is proven and based on experience as opposed to being purely theoretical.
Be innovative - Focus on content that is timely, relevant and is either new or provides a fresh perspective on something that already exists.
Be catchy not corny - Offer titles and descriptions that will catch and keep the audience's interest but without annoying them. There is no formula for accomplishing this, so you will have to rely on your instincts.
Speakers at TestKIT will be granted the following:
One complimentary registration to the conference
The ability to offer co-workers, colleagues, and/or community a special conference discount
The opportunity to accompany your presentation with a white paper that will be entered into the conference's best paper contest. The winner of the best paper contest will be announced at the conference, at which time a special prize will be awarded.
A nomination to be entered for the 6th Annual ATI Automation Honors Best Presentation category.
Increased visibility as a thought leader in the disciplines of testing and test automation.
